About Ashramshala Kamshet

Maharshi karve Anudanit Adivashi Asharamshala Kamshet, tq-Maval Dist Pune - An initiative of MKSSS is one of the best Asharamshala for both girls and boys. It was taken over by MKSSS with a focus on sustainable livelihood and insightful development of students from tribal  community with quality education. Since then remarkable growth could be witnessed in terms of admissions rising from 145 to 400 to its full intake capacity as per the norms of the Maharashtra Government. Asharamshal  now imparts education up to 10th standard. Admission process begins in the month of March-April. All the teachers in the school conduct surveys by personally visiting Adivasi areas to find out the eligible students for admissions. Information is also sought through the relatives and siblings of the existing students. Parents of such students are convinced to admit them to school.
